Welcome to Wallingford Maidens Rugby
Wallingford Maidens is fast becoming the premier girls rugby team in Oxfordshire.
The Maidens run 2 teams:
- U15 for years 9 & 10 and
- U18 for years 11, 12 & 13
- U12 and U13 for year 7 and 8 tag to tackle development.

Both teams contribute players to county and the Thames Valley region. We had 3 U15 girls playing in the Thames Valley team that reached the final of the U15 National regional competition of England & Wales in 2010. Our girls scored the try that took TV to the final and the only try of the final. So we have some of the very best players around!
4 u15 Maidens have been selected to play for South West England Division this year(2011) , Rowan White, Olivia Jones, Maddy Peris and Imogen Reay. We look forward to seeing the impact they make in the divisional matches. The girls will recieve a higher level training programme run by the RFUW with Wallingford RFC playing host to many of the sessions.
