Welcome to Wallingford Mini Rugby

Welcome to Wallingford Mini rugby.  We are a very friendly club who prides itself on ensuring that all players enjoy the friendship, camaraderie and exercise that rugby provides.  We encourage both boys and girls to pariticpate, and work extensively with local schools to promote rugby in the community.  Our U6 age group is the perfect way for children to be introduced to the game, to develop some basic ball skills and to have great fun with their new found friends.  We have players in the Senior team who started out in the Wallingford U6s - so we really do like to be a part of a life experience for our players.  Our U7s and U8s play tag rugby, before moving on to contact at U9-12.  (as defined by the RFU Continnuum).

The age groups are defined in line with the school year, 1st September to 31st August.  The age group your child will be eligible to play in will be that determined by his/her age at midnight on 31st August.  If you are unclear which age group your child should play in, then contact our club registrar This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. If you are new to rugby, or new to the area - please do come along and join us.  We are always happy to welcome new players.
